I have always been a fan of music. The sounds squeezed out of bells, the rhythm and mood the power of music puts me into, helps me design my thoughts. I can hear conversations through lyrics. They help shape a story or a message that I have sitting on a shelf in my mind, where many stories live. At this point in my life, the stories are alive.  It's time to come off the shelves and dance to a new sound, a new tapestry of melody with harmony of all angles and languages.

Writing is a freeing of my mind, and sometimes it's in spurts; other times, I may talk about it all day long for weeks. The best time for me to write is when I've lived the experience. To be clear, there is no exaggeration, but rather a prerogative, if I may.

I believe in the magic of a blank page, a steady pen, and a loud imagination. I wander through memory and possibility, bringing back stories that nudge me until I write them down. I always urge others to do the same—put your thoughts on paper and watch them grow.

I’m a mother of four and grandmother of four, with more family-inspired tales than I could ever fit between covers. The six books I’ve published all come from different corners of my life, yet each one is unmistakably me. Life hands me a symphony of characters, and I plan to keep writing as long as they keep playing.
