Meet the Author Behind
A Scribe's Signature™
Lisa A. Bembry is an independent author, storyteller, and creator of The Written World—a place where lived experience, imagination, music, humor, family, and the wonderfully unexpected parts of life find their way onto the page.
Her writing refuses to stay in one lane. From reflection and memoir to romance, family stories, imaginative adventures, and the four-legged characters who have claimed permanent space in her world, Lisa writes about what moves her—and what she believes may move someone else.
Music has long been part of her creative language. A lyric can become a conversation. A rhythm can unlock a memory. An ordinary moment can sit quietly in her mind for years before announcing that it is finally ready to become a story.
At the heart of Lisa's work is connection. She believes stories can make us laugh, remember, question, heal, recognize ourselves, and occasionally say, “Wait…somebody else does that too?”
That same spirit extends beyond the page. Through A Scribe’s Signature™, author appearances, community events, and The Perch, Lisa creates spaces where books aren't simply displayed—they begin conversations.
She is also a mother and grandmother, an unapologetic animal lover, a lover of music, and a firm believer in the possibilities of a blank page. Her growing body of work may travel through very different subjects, but each story carries something unmistakably hers: curiosity, warmth, truth, and room for the reader.
Welcome to the Written World of Lisa A. Bembry.

A Scribe’s Signature™
—
The Written World was created to do more than tell stories: It was created to make room for connection.
Warm Connection
Stories and events invite readers to recognize pieces of their own lives, experiences, and value within the words.
Sophisticated Storytelling
Each story is thoughtfully crafted with depth, humanity, humor, and a respect for the experiences that shpe us.
Community Engagement
Through pop-ups, gatherings, and reader conversations, literature moves beyond the page and becomes a shared experience.
